"Everyday Plush" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") sponsored by Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products LP, Retail Division ("Sponsor") is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 years of age or older as of 10/15/08 (see further restrictions in Rule 4 below). Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 PM Eastern Time ("ET") on 10/15/08 and ends at 11:59:59 AM ET on 1/12/09 ("Promotion Period").
1. TO ENTER ONLINE: Go to www.quiltednorthern.com ("Website") and follow the on-screen instructions to enter the Sweepstakes, during the Promotion Period. Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 AM ET on 1/12/09. TO ENTER BY MAIL: Hand print your name, complete street address, daytime phone number and date of birth on a plain piece of 3" x 5" paper and mail it to Quilted Northern Ultra Plush. "Everyday Plush" Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 1159, Glenview, IL 60025. Each entry must be mailed separately in a hand-addressed, stamped outer envelope. No photocopied, facsimile, mechanically reproduced, illegible or incomplete mail-in entries accepted. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or postage-due mail or entries. Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than 1/12/09 and received no later than 1/22/09 to be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person/household/e-mail address, per day, regardless of method of entry during the Promotion Period. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, a "day" shall be from 12:00:01 PM ET through 11:59:59 AM ET for each date during the Promotion Period. Entries become property of Sponsor and none will be returned or acknowledged except as provided herein.
2. WINNER SELECTIONS: One (1) Daily Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received from both entry methods combined corresponding to that day on or about seven (7) days following each Daily entry deadline. Mail entries will be entered into the Daily drawing based upon the day it is postmarked (provided that it is received within seven days from the postmark date, and if not it will be entered into the next applicable Daily Drawing, if any). Entries will not "roll over" into subsequent Daily Drawings. All valid, non-winning Daily Drawing entries will be included in the Grand Prize Drawing. One (1) overall Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received from both entry methods combined on or about 1/30/09.
All drawings will be conducted by an independent judging organization whose decisions shall be final on all matters related to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a Daily Drawing depend on the total number of eligible entries received in accordance with these Official Rules corresponding to each daily drawing. Odds of winning the Grand Prize Drawing depend on the total number of eligible entries received in accordance with these Official Rules.
3. PRIZES: Monday Prize (13 total): For each Monday drawing during the Promotion Period, one (1) Daily Prize of a bath mat (size and color to be determined by Sponsor and is at Sponsor's sole discretion) is available to be won. Approximate retail value ("ARV"): $50.00 each. Tuesday Prize (12 total): For each Tuesday drawing during the Promotion Period, one (1) Daily Prize of a bathrobe is available to be won. ARV: $60.00 each. Wednesday Prize (13 total): For each Wednesday drawing during the Promotion Period, one (1) Daily Prize of two (2) bath towels is available to be won. ARV: $30.00 each. Thursday Prize (13 total): For each Thursday drawing during the Promotion Period, one (1) Daily Prize of a pair of slippers (size to be determined by Sponsor and subject to availability) is available to be won. ARV: $54.00. Friday Prize (13 total): For each Friday drawing during the Promotion Period, one (1) Daily Prize of a pashmina is available to be won. ARV: $40.00 each. Saturday Prize (13 total): For each Saturday drawing during the Promotion Period, one (1) Daily Prize of a throw blanket is available to be won. ARV: $40.00 each. Sunday Prize (13 total): For each Sunday during the Promotion Period, one (1) Daily Prize of a pillow is available to be won. ARV: $20.00 each. One (1) Grand Prize: 3-day/2-night trip for two (winner and guest) to a resort/spa of winner's choice (see below for restrictions) located in the 48 contiguous United States and a $1,000 gift certificate redeemable for spa services. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation for Grand Prize winner and guest from the major metropolitan airport in the U.S. closest to winner's residence and the major metropolitan airport nearest the location of the resort/spa three (3) days' rental car (eligible drivers only), and standard accommodations (single room, double occupancy) at the resort/spa. ARV of Grand Prize: up to $5,000.00. Total Maximum value of prize that will be awarded is $5,000, regardless of the resort/spa selected by winner. All expenses in excess of the total maximum prize value set forth herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. Total ARV of all prizes: $8,762.00. Actual value of Grand Prize may depend upon Grand Prize winner's point of travel origin, resort/spa selected by winner, dates of travel, and airfare fluctuations as of date of travel. If winner lives within 250 miles of selected resort/spa, ground transportation may be substituted by Sponsor in lieu of air transportation (no cash balance awarded). Selection of airline is at Sponsor's sole discretion. Resort/spa location is subject Sponsor's approval. All other costs and expenses on the receipt and use of the prize not specifically mentioned herein, including but not limited to meals, travel insurance, room service, laundry service, spa treatments in excess of the gift certificate provided hereunder, alcoholic beverages, local and long distance telephone calls, merchandise and souvenirs, incidental expenses, additional tips and gratuities, income taxes, are solely the responsibility of Grand Prize winner and his/her guest. All travel must be completed by January 30, 2010 or prize is forfeited. All travel subject to availability, blackout periods, government restrictions and regulations, hotel, airline, airport or other transportation terminal (or other types of transportation) restrictions and regulations. Other restrictions may apply. Sponsor is not responsible for cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled events (including airline flights beyond its control). Grand Prize winner his/her guest must have all necessary identification and/or travel documents (e.g., a valid U.S. driver's license) required for travel within the United States.
Grand Prize winner and his/her guest must travel together on the same itinerary. If guest is considered a minor in their state of residence, guest must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian who must be the Grand Prize winner. Guest has no independent right or claim to any prize. Any portion of a prize not accepted by Grand Prize winner or his/her guest will be forfeited. Prize must be accepted as awarded. Prize is non-transferable and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be made except as provided herein or at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value if an advertised prize, or part of advertised prize, should become unavailable for any reason. Winners must comply with all Sweepstakes rules as published. Grand Prize winner will be notified by overnight mail and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where permitted) within twenty-one (21) days of notification (first attempted delivery). If Grand Prize winner is eighteen (18) years of age, but considered an eligible minor in his/her state of residence, prize will be awarded in Grand Prize winner's name to a parent/legal guardian of winner who must execute and return any required documents as noted previously in these rules and accompany winner as his/her guest. Guest of Grand Prize winner (or his/her parent or legal guardian, if guest is considered a minor in his/her state of residence) will also be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release (where permitted) before any ticketing or travel occurs. All federal, state and other taxes, not specifically mentioned herein as expressly included, are solely the responsibility of the winner. Winners' entries and acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use their name, photograph, likeness, statements, voice and address (city and state) on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation except where prohibited by law. Participation and acceptance of any prize by the Grand Prize winner's guest constitutes guest's permission for the Sponsor to use the guest's name, photograph, likeness, statements, voice and address (city and state) on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation except where prohibited by law. Failure of winners to comply with the above prize claim requirements for any reason, or the return of any prize notification or prize as undeliverable, or the determination that a winner is ineligible to receive a prize, will result in forfeiture of the prize. If a winner is found to be in violation of any of these Official Rules, he/she will be required to forfeit his/her prize, or, at Sponsor's discretion, to reimburse Sponsor for the stated value of the prize if such violation is found after the prize has been used.
4. ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Sponsor, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, retailers, advertising, promotion, and judging agencies and members of the immediate families or households of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate. For purposes of these rules, "immediate families" means spouse, parents or legal guardians, siblings, children, step-parents, step-siblings, step-children, and the spouses of each of the foregoing.
5. GENERAL RULES: BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, ENTRANTS AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF THE JUDGES AND TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR, ITS PARENT AND RELATED COMPANIES, AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING, PROMOTION, JUDGING AGENCIES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, PRIZE SUPPLIERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM AND AGAINST ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR THE DOWNLOADING OR ACCESSING OF ENTRY MATERIALS, OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION OR USE/MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE AWARDED HEREIN, ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY PARTIES OTHER THAN SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRIZE AWARDED, OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY PRIZE-RELATED ACTIVITY OR ANY TRAVEL/SPA SERVICE RELATED THERETO (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, CLAIMS, COSTS, INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES RELATED TO PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, DAMAGE TO, LOSS OR DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY OR PRIVACY, DEFAMATION OR PORTRAYAL IN A FALSE LIGHT).
6. INTERNET: The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited. Any person who uses or attempts to use such means to enter the Sweepstakes will be disqualified from participation in the Sweepstakes and will be ineligible to receive a prize. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In the event that the Sweepstakes is cancelled or terminated prior to the stated end date, Sponsor reserves the right to have the judges select the winners for the Sweepstakes in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect, entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation/termination. Proof of entering information on Sponsor's Website is not considered proof of delivery or receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmissions or entries that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, garbled, destroyed or misdirected, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, or for any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or the downloading or accessing of any materials in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor is further not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries.
All incomplete or otherwise non-conforming entries will be disqualified. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Proof of entering information on Sponsor's Website is not considered proof of delivery or receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmissions or entries that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, garbled, destroyed or misdirected, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, or for any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or the downloading or accessing of any materials in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor is further not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries.
All incomplete or otherwise non-conforming entries will be disqualified. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a potential winner based on an e-mail address, the potential winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry, provided such person meets the eligibility requirements of these Official Rules. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
